The spotlight, more than ever in these turbulent economic times, is on the executive suite of an organization.  Shareholders, employees, regulatory agencies, news media and the general public are putting every C-level executive under the microscope.  Fiscal responsibility, Governance, Efficiency, Risk Management, Accountability, Prioritization, Return-On-Investment and Productivity have become all-too-familiar terms that interested parties are monitoring.  The good news is that Project Management done right positively impacts all of these areas and more.

Unfortunately, most C-Level executives only hear about Project Management after the project is about to fail.  Many negatively influence a project without even knowing they have done so by making decisions adversely affecting Time, Budget or Scope.  One justification heard is that no executive ever makes a bad decision, as each decision is based upon his or her level of awareness at the time.  In these times, ignorance is no longer an excuse or a reason.
